UGREEN launches HomeAgent smart home hub in Boston

New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez named as global brand ambassador as company enters the AIoT market

UGREEN, the consumer electronics company known for charging and networking accessories, used an event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on 1 September 2026 to enter the smart home and AI hub market for the first time. The company launched its HomeAgent ecosystem, a range of AIoT (AI-connected) devices built around local, on-device processing rather than cloud servers. UGREEN also confirmed New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as its global brand ambassador.

The event, held under the banner ‘Smarter Living Starts Here’, positions HomeAgent as a hub that combines network storage, security camera management and smart home control in a single unit, using artificial intelligence that runs locally on the device rather than relying on servers operated by UGREEN or third parties.

HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro

At the centre of the new lineup are the UGREEN HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro, described as local AI hubs that combine network-attached storage with on-device AI processing, security monitoring and smart home control.

Both units use natural language voice control through an assistant called Uliya. Users can ask the hub to control connected devices, check the status of doors, cameras or sensors, and set up voice notifications for events such as a parcel arriving or a baby crying. UGREEN’s own documentation lists the notification feature as planned for a later software update.

A key feature of the HA100 series is local storage. Files, photos and camera footage are stored on hard drives fitted inside the HA100 itself, with UGREEN stating there is no monthly storage fee for local use. The company said core storage, security and smart home functions can continue to operate over a household’s own network even if the internet connection drops, although remote access, mobile push notifications and software updates still need an internet connection.

The HA100 also processes footage locally to identify people, vehicles, pets and parcels, generate short highlight clips from family recordings, and allow keyword searches of recorded video, for example searching for ‘a man in a blue jacket’ to find a relevant clip. With Matter support, the hub can bring compatible smart home devices under single voice or app-based control, including custom automation scenes.

The standard HA100 uses a Rockchip RK3588 processor with 16GB of memory, three drive bays for 2.5 or 3.5-inch hard drives, and a 2.5 gigabit Ethernet connection. The HA100 Pro steps up to a CIX-P1-CP8180 processor with 32GB of memory, a 128GB internal NVMe drive, and 10 gigabit Ethernet, along with what UGREEN describes as deeper semantic understanding, the ability to create automation rules by voice, and more advanced recognition of behaviour and intent rather than simple object categories. Buyers need to supply their own hard drives for either model.

MasterAgent MA100 adds NVIDIA processing

Sitting above the HA100 range is the UGREEN MasterAgent MA100, which the company says is the first local AI hub built around the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 platform. UGREEN quotes a figure of up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local computing performance, intended to run larger AI models directly in the home rather than sending data to the cloud, and to coordinate multiple connected devices and tasks at once. UGREEN said developers will be able to extend the MasterAgent’s abilities by building additional packages or skills through a developer platform.

Cameras, speaker and photo frame

The HomeAgent ecosystem also includes several companion devices. The UGREEN SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro is a 4K (8-megapixel) pan-and-tilt camera with local AI recognition, starlight night vision, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and a physical privacy shutter.

Two outdoor cameras join the range. The UGREEN SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro combines an 8-megapixel fixed camera with a dual 5-megapixel pan-and-tilt camera offering nine-times hybrid zoom, an IP66 weatherproof rating, and a 106dB siren for deterrence, and can be powered either over Ethernet or via a separate power adapter. The UGREEN SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro uses the same triple-lens layout but runs on a detachable 10,000mAh battery topped up by a 6W solar panel, along with radar and passive infrared sensing intended to reduce false alerts.

Voice control across the home is handled through the UGREEN Smart Speaker for Uliya, a speaker with a three-driver audio system and a four-microphone array for far-field voice pickup, which can also relay spoken alerts for events such as a parcel arriving. Completing the lineup is UGREEN Gallery, a 13.3-inch digital photo frame using colour E Ink Spectra 6 display technology rather than a conventional LCD panel, designed to display family photos and artwork without the glow of a backlit screen, and rated for up to six months of use on a single charge of its 10,000mAh battery.

Christian Gonzalez named brand ambassador

Alongside the product launches, UGREEN named New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as its global brand ambassador, extending a relationship that began in April when UGREEN became the Patriots’ official tech accessory partner. Marshall Mao, UGREEN’s sales director for North America, said the aim of HomeAgent was to build a system that can understand a household and act on its behalf while keeping data and decisions under the user’s control, rather than simply adding more connected devices to a home.

Gonzalez is set to appear at UGREEN product experience booths at four Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium during the coming season, and the company will hold a watch party across several Boston venues on 10 December, with product demonstrations and the chance to buy on site.

Pricing and availability

Pre-orders for the HA100, HA100 Pro and MasterAgent MA100 opened on 4 September 2026 through UGREEN’s AIoT online store. UGREEN said customers placing a deposit from $50 during the pre-order period can lock in a ‘Super Early Bird’ price described as 50 percent off the eventual retail price. Pre-orders will run until 27 October 2026, when UGREEN plans to move the AIoT range onto a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, with further accessories due to join the range at that point. UGREEN’s supporting documentation lists the United Kingdom among the European markets covered by the Kickstarter campaign, with shipping expected to begin from January 2027.
